How to Dose CBD

The big CBD question.

Every once in awhile, someone leaves a review on the Eables™ Facebook Page or sends a personal note or DM to let me know about their experience. Nothing brightens my day more than to hear how Eables™ is making a difference.

I know that there are a few of you that have reached out personally, and I’m working with to help you find a dose that works for you, and that’s what I wanted to talk about today.

Eables CBD How to use CBD

CBD is not an OTC medicine!

When my wife first began using Eables™ to manage her chronic migraines she found herself in the wrong mindset. She had been cycling through OTC pain relievers and frequently found herself losing track of how much she’d taken and with what frequency.

CBD is totally different.

Over-the-counter medication has us locked into a routine of reactive pain management.  Experience pain – take the maximum dose – take more after a few hours – repeat and hope it eventually stops. What madness! When tackling chronic pain/migraines, CBD works best when used every day.

“Migraine, fibromyalgia, [irritable bowel syndrome] and related conditions display common clinical, biochemical and pathophysiological patterns that suggests an underlying clinical endocannabinoid deficiency that may be suitably treated with cannabinoid medicines,” Russo concluded in his research review. – A more in depth article with a link to study is available here.

Long story short, the theory is that research into chronic pain conditions suggests there can actually be an endocannabinoid deficiency! It is absolutely essential to take CBD daily, and move your dose as much as is necessary. I know some people that dose in the evening, some in the morning, and so on.

My wife has found that a full dropper of the 1000mg in the morning works best to keep her migraines manageable from day to day. When she does feel a migraine coming on she’ll take an additional full dropper, and/or massage some of the oil into her neck/shoulders.

Let’s get topical!

Many consumers are finding that a higher concentration of CBD oil (1000mg plus) to be the perfect amount to apply topically to areas of intense pain/inflammation. It’s important to find a CBD oil that is paired with a carrier oil that is friendly to the skin. That’s why any companies opt for MCT Coconut oil.

Try to think of CBD outside of the traditional over-the-counter mindset: you’re free from hourly dosing and the limits of over-the-counter drugs, because CBD can only HELP.

As always, feel free to reach out with questions.

Stay well. ?
