Chris Reimer is the owner of Rizzo Tees, a company with (get this) t-shirts. Funny t-shirts at that. This presentation is a brief look at Chris and his accomplishments as a social media maven.

Chris is an avid Twitter user at @RizzoTees. He has conversed with many people in a variety of continents and on a myriad of topics. He’s considered a social media mastermind, and due to his expertise, he currently holds the title of VP of Social Media at Falk Harrison. The above presentation was created for a special topics class on personal branding that I presented at. Chris has excellent personal branding, particularly with the “Rizzo Tees” moniker. His name is tied to his company’s persona, he has great SEO, as well a transcending visual continuity in everything he does.

What Chris Would Say

Red Wine and Bacon.

Chris loves red wine, and bacon. But, as he so aptly notes in his Twitter bio, he loves us more than bacon.

Engage, engage, engage!

I have had the pleasure of hearing Chris speak at #GetDigital last year, and his message is rather simple, but often missed. Engage, engage, engage! Chris became the name that he is, and ultimately the job that he holds as a result of his engagement with his followers on Twitter. Negative, positive, and everything in between, Chris interacts with people on Twitter. He is a very personable man in person, as well as online. Try tweeting at him.  In the video included in the above presentation, Chris shares his insight as well as a case study on how he spearheaded the #SavePratzels movement.

What Does Chris Tweet About?

As you can see from the wordle in the slideshow, Chris tweets about a variety of things. The graphic displays items that are more frequently mentioned in larger type. It’s interesting to note that two of the words that Chris uses most frequently are “thank” and “thanks.” This is another example of Chris engaging with people in a practical way on Twitter. There’s nothing wrong with saying a quick “thank you” to someone who followed, retweeted, or mentioned you.

Conclusion

My concluding point is that Chris is a suave professional who is approachable, both online and in person. He is a self-made social media expert, who learned by doing. His knowledge comes from his practice, and his wisdom on the subjects of social media, new media, and personal branding are worth delving into.
